We haven't even left yet and already the blessings are starting...just received word that a wonderful "somebody" has booked us 2 rooms in the Miami Airport so we don't have to sleep "in the airport" tomorrow night...(woo hoo....and I was soooo looking forward to sleeping on the "concrete couch"!!) Also found out that we have a group coming in from Iowa and additional people coming in on Monday, so we will have a "big" group coming together...It' always a wonderful blessing to come together...a "common calling" that brings everyone together...make no mistake, we are ALL a part of this for one reason...."our Lord has brought us together for HIS glory", and at the same time we get the opportunity to minister to the people of Haiti, and more importantly, WE are ministered to by them...(thru their unwavering faith, their will and their spirit to survive....) regardless of what "life" has dealt them....(a reminder I receive each and every time I go....)
Once again, please remember our team in prayer...and that thru all of the experiences we have that we bring glory to our Lord... :)
